Using Technology And The Tools Of Independent Media To Drive Content Creation, Messaging, And Relationship Management.

Life Is a lot like marketing. You srart. with a plan,, you analyze progress, determine what's working and what isn't and adjust accordingly. You learn more from failures than you do  from successes, but if you pay attention, there's a lot you can learn from your victories.

My life plan started with writing music, which evolved into writing and performing music. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of listening to good advice about having a plan B. Having a plan B almost always leads to Plan B becoming Plan A. In my case, it din't. O think I may have settled on plan Z, but time will tell. The upside of that is I have had a lot of great experiences in a variety of industries and learned a lot.

For the last 40 yeas, I have been in marketing, usually in a leadership position and often in a C-Level executive capacity. I've applied the lessons learned from all my plans, A through Z to all the companies I've worked with, with some great successes along the way. I have had my share of failures along the way, and I'm very open to sharing those experiences and the mistakes I made. Transparency is a vital part on collaborative success.

In the late 80's and early 90's I was in radio. I loved it and felt like that was my purpose. Then I made a bad decision to go on the air for a lte night show after a good friend's wedding reception where I had imbibed just a bit. That was a mistake that cost me any chance of a career in radio. I'm still black-listed by stations in the area, some 33 years later.

In August of 2019, I decided to start a podcast to relive my dream of being a radio guy, but without the FCC or station program directors telling what I must and must not say. I didn't take me long to see the power of the podcasting medium to impact businesses in a positive way. I set up a special business edition of my  podcast and began making a big impact in a very short time. Ten the pandemic hit.

With the pandemic, and subsequent lockdowns came a flood of new poscasters. Fortunately for people like me, very few of them were able to figure out the monetization part of the equation, and many ended up. "podfading" within a short period of time.

Since then, I've interviewed more than 2,000 entrepreneurs and business owners and have been interviewed on a few dozen podcast, and I've learned a great deal about how to use the medium to move listeners through the conversion to clients and customers. Crafting your story become THE ONE they want to do business with.
